Give Customers Clarity - Client Pep Talk
Have you ever struggled to justify a seemingly small purchase to yourself?
That’s because the seller did a poor job explaining the point of having their product.
In other words, you were not convinced of how the product or service would add value to your life or make you feel different even though you wanted to spend the money.
Too often, business owners forget that customers don’t know the product or industry as well as they do.
Your target customer doesn’t care what makes your product better when every company is claiming to offer the “better” product.
Customers really want to know what results can your product provide that will help them achieve their desired goals.
In order to convince your customer of the desired outcome, you must first understand the desired goal.
The more specifically you can identify target customer goals, the more accurately you can communicate the desired outcome your product provides them.
Ask questions that allow you to critique and refine your brand content to be more engaging and interactive for your customers:
- What does the customer gain from this piece of content?
- Does this content educate the customer to achieve their desired outcome with and without your product?
- Is the customer’s overall success at the center of your content strategy?
Create content that educates your audience on how to reach their desired goal and how your product will help them get faster or better.
