💬 Quote of the Day
“Do the right thing, at the right time, and in the right way.”
🧘🏾♀️ Focus Tip of the Day
The Pomodoro Technique is an effective way to stay focused and productive by breaking down your tasks into smaller, more manageable time chunks.
🍅 This technique involves dividing your workday into 25-minute intervals, called Pomodoros, followed by five-minute breaks.
During each Pomodoro, you focus on a single task without any distractions.
Once the 25 minutes are up, take a five-minute break, then start another Pomodoro.
After completing four Pomodoros, take a longer break of 15-30 minutes.
🧠 Think of it this way: by breaking down your tasks into smaller timeframes, you can build momentum and develop better time management with each completed task.
By breaking down your workday into smaller time intervals, you can:
Better manage your time
Stay focused and motivated
Avoid burnout
Knowing you only have a limited time to complete each task can also help you avoid distractions and stay on task.
And as you complete each small step, you'll gain confidence and momentum to carry you toward your larger goal.
Using the Pomodoro Technique can help you build momentum and gain confidence as you complete each Pomodoro and move closer to achieving your larger goal.
Each small step completed is like a building block; you can create something truly amazing by consistently stacking each block.
🔥 Intensity Challenge of the Week: 10% More!
This week’s challenge is designed to help you develop the habit of doing more.
💪🏾The "10% More" Challenge
Your goal is to do 10% more of something each day this week.
This can be anything - exercise, reading, writing, meditation, cleaning, or any other activity you want to do more regularly.
For example, if you want to exercise more, you could start by doing 10% more reps or adding 10% more weight to your daily workouts.
If you want to read more, you could aim to read 10% more pages each day.
Day 1: Start by doing your chosen activity as normal. Then, add 10% more, either in time or reps.
Day 2: Do the same activity for its regular amount of time or repetitions, then add 10% more.
Day 3: Repeat the same process as Day 2, but add another 10% more.
Continue this pattern for the rest of the week, adding 10% more each day.
By the end of the week, you will have increased your activity by 70% compared to Day 1!
This challenge aims to push you out of your comfort zone and gradually build the habit of doing more.
It's important to remember to listen to your body and not overexert yourself.
If you need to adjust the challenge to fit your needs, that's okay!
